I’m a C.H.E.K (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Institute Holistic Health Practitioner who takes an integrated spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical approach to high-performance athletic conditioning, injury rehabilitation, mental/emotional issue guidance, and helping improve one’s general lifestyle.
This can be done in a private 1-1 container, which is the most comprehensive, working for anywhere from a few months to years depending on the severity of the client’s challenge, and in a group container where groups of individuals work with me for an extended period of time or I present in a workshop format that last from a couple hours to a whole day or a few.
I remember the moment when I first became aware of the festival. I had just travelled up to Liverpool in the North of England to visit my sister. There I sat on her sofa, thinking I need to find some more events to promote my coaching at, and then, just as The Universe tends to do with its timing, an advertisement for this festival showed up on my Facebook timeline. It’s a funny thing when that happens, but whether it be an advert, or meeting someone you feel instantly connected to, I just had this gut feeling of ‘yes, I should apply for that’.
Having experienced this feeling multiple times in the past, I knew it was the right decision to apply. When the festival weekend arrived, I had a strong intuition that it would be successful. While it was my hope to gain clients from the event, my main priority was to share my passion for health and helping others, which I enthusiastically conveyed during my talks on both days. Apart from making new friends and meaningful connections with fellow practitioners, I also had the opportunity to meet numerous inspiring individuals from the public who were seeking guidance with their health challenges. Overall, the talks were a standout experience for me.

Public speaking can be an intimidating experience for many, but I have found that it brings out the best in me. Despite my initial nerves, I confidently share my expertise in holistic health. However, during my first talk, I faced a technical glitch with the projector. In a matter of seconds, I had to adapt and create a new presentation on the spot because I couldn’t rely on the PowerPoint slides I had prepared. Thankfully, my amazing sister, who was also my tech support, came to the rescue. She grabbed my promotional banner from our exhibition stand, and I improvised by explaining the diagrams on it. Surprisingly, it turned out well, and I received positive feedback from the audience. The second talk, titled ‘The Mechanics of Mental Health,’ went much smoother as everything worked perfectly. I believe it made a significant impact, and I am extremely grateful to everyone who attended and listened.
Overall, the festival gave so much. I met many wonderful people, made new friends, pushed my comfort zone, and grew as a person. A wonderful experience at The Wonderful World of Wellbeing.
Thank you Diane for enabling me to educate and support members of the public in their future health and wellbeing.
